T-Mobile Data Breach
T-Mobile breach last year cost company over $350 million.
T-Mobile experienced another data breach, impacting approximately 37 million postpaid and prepaid customers whose data was accessed by hackers. The company stated that it discovered the issue on January 5th, but the hackers are believed to have been stealing data from the company's systems since late November 2022. This is not the first time T-Mobile has been affected by a significant cyber attack that impacted millions of customers. After last year's attack, in which 76 million customers had their data compromised, the company promised to spend $150 million to improve its data security, but this recent attack raises concerns about the effectiveness of this investment.
